We ask that you send or deliver your bouquet as soon as possible, ideally within 24–48 hours after your event. Flowers should be kept in water until you are ready to ship or drop them off. When your bouquet arrives, we carefully unpack it, photograph it from several angles, and note the colors, flower types, and overall style. This record helps us stay true to the original look when we design your preserved piece.

2. Initial inspection and consultation
We gently check each stem for damage, bruising, or signs of wilting. Some flowers may be too soft or damaged to preserve; if so, we select the best blooms and greenery to represent your bouquet. Based on your order, we confirm the preservation method (drying, pressing, resin, or framing) and the final product style. If you have special requests, such as including a ribbon, charm, or invitation, we plan how to incorporate them safely.

3. Careful cleaning and preparation
Before preservation, we remove excess leaves, thorns, and any damaged petals. We do not wash the flowers with water, as this can cause browning, but we gently brush away dust or debris. Stems are trimmed to the right length for the chosen technique. This preparation step helps prevent mold, improves drying, and keeps the final piece looking neat and professional.

4. Choosing the right technique for each flower
Different flowers respond better to different methods. Thicker blooms like roses and peonies often do well with silica drying or partial disassembly before resin casting. Delicate flowers like baby’s breath or small wildflowers are ideal for pressing or light air-drying. We may use a mix of techniques for one bouquet so that each flower keeps as much of its natural shape and color as possible.

5. Drying and shape preservation
Air drying: Some flowers are hung upside down in a dark, dry, well-ventilated room. This method usually takes 2–4 weeks. Darkness helps reduce fading, and hanging helps the blooms keep a natural shape.
Silica drying: For fuller flowers, we use a special drying medium (silica) that gently pulls out moisture while supporting the petals. Flowers are buried in the medium and left undisturbed for 1–3 weeks. This method helps maintain more of the original shape and color.

6. Pressing for flat designs
For pressed frames or flat artwork, we carefully separate petals and blooms and place them between absorbent sheets in a flower press. The flowers are pressed under even pressure and changed to fresh paper regularly to avoid moisture buildup. Pressing usually takes 3–6 weeks, depending on thickness and humidity. The result is a thin, flat version of your flowers that still shows their color and detail, perfect for framing.

7. Resin casting and 3D designs
If you choose a resin piece, we first make a dry layout of your flowers in the mold to plan the composition. Once we are happy with the design, we pour resin in thin layers, allowing each layer to cure before adding the next. This slow process reduces bubbles and protects delicate petals. Resin work can take 3–8 weeks from start to finish, depending on the size and thickness of the piece. The final result is a clear, solid block or shape that holds your flowers in place for many years.

8. Framing and layout design
For framed pieces, we design a balanced layout using your dried or pressed flowers. We consider color, size, and the original bouquet style. Flowers are arranged on an acid-free backing to help prevent yellowing over time. Once the layout is approved (if your package includes a preview), we secure each element by hand. We then seal the frame with glass or acrylic, using spacers when needed so that 3D flowers do not touch the glass.

9. Color and shape protection
To help maintain colors, we dry flowers in low light and stable conditions. Some natural fading is normal, especially for very bright or dark blooms, but our methods aim to keep tones as close as possible to the original. We avoid harsh chemicals and use archival materials where possible. For shape, we support petals and stems during drying and in the final design so they do not collapse or warp. Resin pieces are fully sealed, and framed pieces are closed to protect against dust and moisture.

10. Quality check and finishing touches
Before we send your piece home, we inspect it from all angles. We check for loose elements, dust inside frames, resin imperfections, and overall balance. If needed, we make small adjustments, polish resin surfaces, or clean the glass. We then add any agreed personalization, such as names, dates, or a short message, and prepare a simple care guide so you know how to display and protect your keepsake.

11. Packaging and return shipping
Your finished piece is wrapped in protective materials and placed in a sturdy box with padding to prevent movement. For resin and framed items, we use corner protectors and extra cushioning. We ship with tracking and, where available, insurance, so you can follow your parcel. Local clients may also choose in-person pickup by appointment.

How to prepare and ship your bouquet

• Keep flowers in clean water until you are ready to send them.
• Store them in a cool place, away from direct sun, heaters, or car trunks.
• Do not spray perfume, hairspray, or cleaning products on the flowers.
• For shipping, wrap stems in damp (not dripping) paper towel, cover with plastic, and secure with a rubber band.
• Place the bouquet in a snug box with padding so it cannot move around.
• Ship early in the week with a fast service to avoid weekend delays.
• Include your name, contact details, order number, and any special notes inside the box.
